Wat opvalt is dat de Bries Douche-WTW het beste rendement heeft én verreweg het goedkoopst is. Beter dan dat kan het niet worden toch? Je kunt deze per telefoon bestellen bij Dutch Solar Systems. De rest zou te krijgen moeten zijn via je sanitairleverancier. Ik installeer de WTW zelf, wat uiteraard het goedkoopst is, en ook niet erg moeilijk als je een beetje handig bent. Maar zelfs als je het door een installateur laat doen, bespaar je veel geld (zie verderop).
Zijn er nog addertjes?
Een douche-WTW gaat net zo lang mee als de rest van de waterleiding in huis, dus minstens 30 jaar (en in de praktijk nog veel langer). Onder normale omstandigheden is er geen onderhoud nodig. Mocht je een douche op de begane grond hebben, dan heb je een douchebak-WTW nodig (ook verkrijgbaar bij Bries). Hou er rekening mee dat veel sanitairleveranciers en -installateurs geen ervaring hebben met de douche-WTW, maar laat je er niet vanaf praten! Verwijs eventueel naar de branchevereniging Uneto-vni, omdat zij meer info beschikbaar hebben.
En hoeveel bespaar ik?

(Overigens, als je de cijfers doorrekent met de cijfers over de douchekop, dan lijkt het alsof er bij de douchekop meer gas wordt gebruikt voor warm water. Ik vermoed dat dit komt omdat deze cijfers alleen over HR-ketels gaan, terwijl de cijfers bij de douchekop de gemiddelden zijn van alle huishoudens, dus ook die met VR-ketels. De percentages blijven echter correct.)

En natuurlijk de warmwater-leiding goed/stevig inpakken met isolatiemateriaal! Zelfs in mijn nieuwbouwwoning van 2006 waren er nog enkele meters (!!!) leidingwerk aanwezig, met daarmee warmte verlies van het douche/badwater.

Let alleen wel even op als je een bad hebt. Niet alle douche-wtw’s zijn hiervoor geschikt. Door de onbekendheid weet niet iedereen dit. Zelfs grote aannemers kunnen een misser maken.

Als je doucht in het bad, dan is elke douche-WTW toepasbaar. Alleen als je het bad apart hebt, dan heeft het geen zin om het op het bad aan te sluiten. De afvoer van warm water moet tegelijk gaan met de aanvoer van nieuw water. Wij hebben een douchebad. Als je doucht terwijl het bad leegloopt (even afspoelen), dan is het juist super efficiënt.

Als je in bad doucht werkt het zeker wel. Ik heb alleen een bad aangesloten op de douche WTW en de Douche WTW van Itho kan daar niet tegen, heb namelijk lekkage door de docuhe WTW. Moet em dus vervangen voor een ander fabrikaat.

In het lijstje prijzen worden denk ik incl. en excl. prijzen door elkaar gehanteerd. De Bries/DSS is € 390 excl. btw, de itho kost bijvoorbeeld op internet € 398 excl. (wat niet wegneemt dat de Bries waarschijnlijk de beste keus is).
